How it works—

Express Your Interest

Start your adoption journey by filling out our interest form. This form allows us to understand more about you, your family, and your hopes for adoption. Don’t worry—this is just the first step, and we’re here to guide you through every stage.

Application Review & Acceptance

Once you submit your form, our team carefully reviews it to ensure a good fit with The Heart Project’s mission and the needs of children in our community. We’ll reach out to discuss your application, answer any questions, and guide you through the next steps. If accepted, you’ll officially become part of The Heart Project family!

Preparation & Support

We believe in setting you up for success. That’s why we provide comprehensive resources and support to help you become an approved adoptive family. This includes assistance with completing the required home study, access to educational materials, workshops, and support groups tailored to adoptive families, guidance on navigating the legal aspects of adoption, and counseling services to help you navigate the emotional journey of adoption.

Creating Your Family Profile

Once you’re ready, we’ll work with you to create a digital profile that reflects your family’s story, values, and what makes your home special. This profile will include photos, a video introduction, and a written description, offering a personal glimpse into your life. Your profile will be shared with expecting parents considering adoption, helping them make an informed and confident decision.

Matching & Placement

When an expecting mother selects your family, we facilitate the connection and ensure that all necessary steps are completed for a successful placement. Our team provides ongoing support to both the expectant parents and adoptive families throughout this crucial phase, ensuring that everyone involved feels secure and supported.
