Hi! We’re Carly and Hayden (along with our dogs, Tuffy and Hazel). Thank you for taking the time to get to know us.

The road that brought us here has been long, but it has also strengthened our hope and deepened our gratitude for the opportunity to create this profile. Our home is built on a foundation of faith, hard work, loyalty, playfulness, and, above all, love.

We are excited to welcome a child into our family and share a life filled with everyday moments and meaningful adventures—from neighborhood dog walks and camping trips to fishing, sporting events, baking together, and tackling fun house projects. We are also incredibly grateful to be surrounded by a close-knit community of loving family and friends who can't wait to share in the joy of welcoming a child.

We love finding joy in everyday life and don't take ourselves too seriously. Whether we're spending time outdoors, laughing together over something silly, or tackling a new project, we enjoy making memories together. Our family and friends would describe us as dependable, thoughtful, loving, and always ready to lend a helping hand.

Our personalities complement one another well. Carly is thoughtful, organized, and attentive to the little details, while Hayden is adventurous, spontaneous, and quick to bring laughter into any situation. We appreciate each other's strengths and have learned that our differences make us a stronger team.

Our story began at a mutual friend's wedding held at Carly's brother's home. Hayden almost didn't attend, but after a last-minute change of plans, he made the drive—and that's where we met. We naturally gravitated toward one another, and years later, we were married in that very same place. It's one of our favorite reminders that God often writes stories in ways we never expect.

Like every marriage, we've walked through challenges together. Early in our relationship, Hayden was stationed three hours away while serving in the Army, and during the COVID pandemic we went months without seeing one another. Those seasons taught us to communicate well, lean on our faith, and find joy even in difficult circumstances. They also strengthened the foundation of our marriage.

One of our greatest blessings is simply doing life together. We love being one another's biggest supporters, celebrating the good days, carrying each other through the hard ones, and knowing that no matter what happens, we're always on the same team.

Adoption has been on our hearts for many years. Although we initially expected to grow our family through pregnancy, our journey unfolded differently than we had imagined. After facing infertility, we spent time grieving, praying, and trusting God as He gently led us toward adoption. While this path wasn't the one we anticipated, it has become one we embrace with deep gratitude, humility, and hope.

We recognize that adoption is both beautiful and complex. It is rooted in love, but it also involves loss, and we hold both truths with great respect. We believe every child's story is deeply valuable, and we are committed to honoring that story with openness, honesty, and compassion throughout their life.

Above all, we want our child to know they are deeply loved. We hope to raise them in a home where they feel safe, encouraged, and free to ask questions, share their feelings, and always be themselves.

We want them to know the story of where they came from, to honor the people who are part of that story, and to grow up confident that they are cherished, not because of the circumstances that brought us together, but simply because they are who they are. We pray they will come to know God's love for themselves and find comfort in Him through every season of life.

We live in a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home in Boise, tucked into a quiet neighborhood at the end of a loop. We love that it's peaceful and safe, while still being just a short drive from everything we need. There's a neighborhood park less than a mile away, and we've become close friends with many of our neighbors, making our community feel even more like home.

Life here is a wonderful balance of adventure and quiet moments. On weekends, you'll often find us exploring somewhere new, spending time with friends, or enjoying a slower day at home together.

We love walks along the Boise Greenbelt, spending time in the backyard with our dogs, and making the most of Idaho's beautiful outdoors.

In the fall, Saturday mornings mean College GameDay, followed by cheering on Notre Dame and Boise State football. In the summer, we enjoy watching Dodgers games together. Sundays begin with church, followed by a slower day resetting for the week ahead. Each year, we head into the mountains with our dogs to cut down our Christmas tree and alternate Thanksgiving and Christmas between our families, allowing us to spend meaningful time with loved ones across the country.

Our dogs, Tuff and Hazel, are a big part of our family. Tuff is a Border Collie who never gets tired of playing fetch, and Hazel is a German Shepherd-Husky mix with a playful, affectionate personality. They love hiking, swimming in the river, and daily trips to the park.They are hilarious, stubborn and so sweet and we are excited for them to one day share adventures, backyard games, and plenty of love with a child.

Our faith is the backbone of our daily life. Our faith helps us to slow down and appreciate our blessings. Our approach to teaching must start with a deep understanding of faith. We plan to create a fun and open environment. We want to help guide them and encourage learning while not making it feel like an obligation. Their story will be so important because no matter where life takes us, they will have their background and story to always come back to in times of uncertainty.

Our desire is to build a home where faith, love, laughter, and grace are part of everyday life. We look forward to sharing the traditions that are meaningful to us while also embracing the new memories and traditions a child will bring to our family.

We hope to raise a child who knows they are deeply loved, walks confidently in who God created them to be, and grows to value kindness, courage, compassion, and generosity.

More than anything, we want to lead by example, showing them God's love through the way we live and care for others. We will speak openly and lovingly about their adoption, encourage questions, celebrate where they came from, and always treat their story with the respect and care it deserves. We believe the people who are part of their story matter, and we will always honor that truth.
